After-hours Emergency Service:
We provide you and your pets with an after-hours emergency service for critical illness or injury. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays. In the event of an emergency simply call the after-hours mobile number to speak directly with the on-call veterinarian.
If your telephone call is not immediately answered the on-call veterinarian may be currently engaged with another patient. Please leave a voicemail message so that they can return your call as soon as possible.
Our on-call veterinarian will be able to discuss your animal emergency and advise appropriate treatment. This may include monitoring at home only, a consultation with the animal, or admitting your pet into the hospital for further medical or surgical management.
Costs and Account Payments
Besides the normal costs of animal health care, after-hours cases do incur an additional after-hours fee. When you initially contact the on-call veterinarian they will endeavour to advise you of those fees.
If your pet requires hospitalisation we will provide an estimate of the expected costs. However please be aware that with emergency procedures costs can vary depending on the ongoing services and treatments required. A deposit will be requested at the time of admission, with full payment of your account due at the conclusion of treatment.
