Our Reproductive Services Include:

Mare Services:

  • Pre-breeding examinations to assess reproductive anatomy and detect abnormalities
  • Follicle tracking and ovulation timing via rectal ultrasound
  • Manipulation of oestrus cycles and ovulation timing
  • Uterine swabbing and culture
  • Artificial Insemination (AI) with chilled or frozen semen
  • Embryo transfer
  • Pregnancy ultrasound scanning
  • Early scan (14–16 days): confirms pregnancy, detects twins (twin ablation if required)
  • Second scan (45 days): confirms ongoing pregnancy
  • Post-breeding uterine flushes
  • Infertility investigations
  • Post-foaling exams for mare and foal
  • Foaling assistance (routine and emergency)
  • Foal IgG testing (18–24 hours post-birth to assess passive transfer)

 

Stallion Services:

  • Stallion breeding soundness and fertility assessment
  • Semen collection for fresh insemination or chilled shipment
  • Semen evaluation (motility, morphology, concentration)
  • Semen preparation for transport or storage
